The Investigations of Environmental Crime offences under the Municipal Code and how the Private Investigator can be used in assisting the Municipal Authority with regards to the detection of the offences. This would be from the scene attendance to seizure of evidence and investigation.

Presented by Steve Lee:

Steve was a former Police Officer in the United Kingdom with over 10 years' service in uniform and detective. Steve then decided to leave the Police in 2009 and became a Private Investigator. Steve now has 12 years experience in the industry providing numerous services and has his own agency based in the city of London. Steve went onto undertake the only recognized Investigator course in the UK and was awarded the Professional Investigator Level 3 qualifications. In 2016, Steve was approached by a Local Government Authority to undertake their Environmental Crime Investigations on a subcontracted basis due to his skills and experiences. Steve now is considered to be a specialist on Environmental Crime by the Local Government Authority. Steve would be involved from the initial scene attendance and Investigation to the point of interviewing suspects and witnesses to preparing court files to prosecution. Steve has presented 3 prosecutions to the criminal court and 2 offenders have been prosecuted by means of large fines and 1 offender given a custodial sentence on the submitted court file.
